Lauren Cannon grew up in Houston, Texas and found her love for moving and creating at the age of four. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Loyola Marymount University and completed Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Program. She has worked with such choreographers as Mike Esperanza, Ashle Dawson, Sonya Tayeh, Jackie Sleight, Michael Susten, Joanna Numata, Jason Myhre, and Shirlene Quigley. She has danced on Good Morning America, performed backup for Rihanna on the MTV VMAs, and danced in L.A. Fashion Week, she has worked with Mike Esperanza’s BARE Dance Company, was a founding member of Body Tension Dance Co., Michael Susten and Company and Shirlene Quigley’s Purity In Pumps.
Lauren has served as the director of dance at Camp Laurel and travels around the U.S. educating and choreographing for dancers of all kinds. Along with her passion for dance and drive for success she plans to have a long career as an artist and entertainer.
