Melody, a native of Maryland, has been dancing since the age of three. She grew up studying with master choreographer and teacher, Ashley Canterna-Hardy at the Edna Lee Dance Studio. Melody went on to become one of twelve women accepted into The Juilliard School’s Dance Division, where she recently graduated with a BFA degree.
Melody has had the honor to work with notable teachers and choreographers such as Adrienne Canterna, Ray Hesselink, Lorin Latarro, Bobbi Jene Smith, and Risa Steinberg. She attended three summers at The Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C. and attended the Radio City Rockette’s Summer Intensive on full scholarship during their Invitational Week.
Melody hopes to one day fulfill her dreams of dancing on Broadway, being a Rockette, and inspiring the world to know that with hard work and a positive mindset, anything is possible. With an extreme passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle, Melody is elated to share her love of dance with her BBS family!
