At the age of two Sarah’s mom put her in dance class to harness her abundance of energy, and Sarah hasn’t stopped moving ever since. After dancing with the Bossov Ballet Company throughout high school, she later studied dance at Oklahoma City University’s famed dance department. She recently completed her college studies, and holds a BBA in Finance and Psychology from Baruch College in New York City. Sarah also holds a CPR certification.
Sarah has had the privilege of performing as a World-Famous Radio City Rockette for over nine seasons! She performed on Broadway in Woody Allen’s recent musical “Bullets Over Broadway” as well as in the classic hit musical “42nd Street.” She toured the U.S. and Canada for over two and a half years in the First National Tours of Monty Python’s “Spamalot” and Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein.” Other favorite credits include performing at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and dancing in the recent Netflix Christmas special “A Very Murray Christmas” starring Bill Murray, George Clooney, and Miley Cyrus.
Sarah developed a passion for fitness at a young age. From “Mousercising” with Mickey Mouse at age 9, to hitting the gym between dance classes, to using workout DVD’s during her time on tour, Sarah’s philosophy is to “Do something physical every single day!” An avid Yogi for the past 14 years, Sarah earned her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher’s Certificate which taught her the importance of anatomical placement and form in all her athletic pursuits. She credits this emphasis on form with keeping her injury free throughout her fifteen plus year professional dance career.
As part of the BBS family, Sarah is excited to bring her enthusiasm and smiling bubbly personality to her BBS classes. “There are shortcuts to happiness…and dancing is one of them.” She can’t wait to see you in class!
